High quality Croc Noir stuff but now powered by accordion that weeps it's slavic, melancholic black psalm subtle and elegantly neck and neck with guitars that creates more texture-like mist here. Beautiful album, slices deep emotionally. Ombre is like a brittle veil of frost that at times blazes violently with white heat. 𝙅𝙤𝙚 𝙎𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙡𝙡
True black metal. True atmosphere. Even virtuosity in musicianship that some bands lack. This album is a gem. It draws you in. It sucks you further down. You feel the frustration. You feel so much. Worth it! Based on this album, the next is an immediate pre-order. Sapphyx
Very late to the party, but for several years I've found melodic black metal all too similar and all albums sounding like Dissection, etc... HOWEVER, not only I am back into it but UADA is still a layer of complexity above the main baseline and this is an old album worth having, that's a basic milestone in UADA's discography and I felt it needed to be part of my BC collection. sachavonkarl74
